Touch tanks, Aquaria and Exhibits: Live sea turtles, snakes, sharks
and other sea life are on display at the center. Canoes and paddleboats are
available for rent March through September. Three-hour guided kayak tours
through the marsh are offered through the year; reservations required. The
center is run by the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and
Environmental Sciences. Tidelands provides the guided nature walks at Clam
Creek, St. Andrews Picnic area and South Dunes picnic area.

Visit Tidelands EXHIBITS:- Admission- $2.00 per person --Many native animals on display, including loggerhead sea turtle, nurse shark, snakes, fish, alligator,crabs, etc. Touch tanks, Discovery Room, Gift Shop.
Canoe & Paddleboat Rentals: on the enclosed salt pond $15/hour; 9am-3pm Monday–Friday, 10am-1pm Sat/Sun.(Seasonal)
Guided Kayak Tours: reservations required:(available all year) Enjoy a 3-hour guided tour-through the salt marsh. Single:$45 tandem:$65. Youth must be accompanied by parent.
Guided Nature Walks: adults $5, ages 8-17 $3.Explore the beach and barrier island ecology. Monday: Clam Creek Picnic Area (north end) 9am- all year. Wednesday: St. Andrews Picnic Area(south end) 9am- all year. Friday: South Dunes Picnic Area 9am (Mar-Oct only).
Live Oaks and More Walk: (Mar- Oct. only). Thursday: -Faith Chapel parking lot (historic district) 9am. Learn about live oaks, resurrection ferns, Spanish moss and the historic plantings of the Jekyll Island Club era
Coastal Explorers: Summer program for children ages 4 to 10, each Friday at 10:45 am from June through Aug. 7. Different program each week. See Calendar for topic of the day.
