Golf on Great Jekyll Island Courses

Jekyll Island Ladies' Golf Association - JILGA: Ladies' day is Tuesday, with tee times beginning at 9 am at one of the three 18-hole golf courses. Sign up by Sunday noon. Membership includes a handicap fee. Tournaments include member/guest.

USGA Golf Handicap System

Like most club golf JILGA uses the USGA handicap system to ensure that differing levels of skills can play competitively with each other. For new members who have never had a handicap, they will be enrolled in the USGA system, and will create a starting one, based on the results of their first few weeks of play. Jekyll Island being a place of active recreation encourages those who want to walk while they play to do so. For those who wish to use a cart, they are available at the golf Center Clubhouse.
